The Petasil company was founded in 1988 in S. João da Madeira, the capital of footwear in an area historically associated with the footwear industry.
Since its inception Petasil has always been a specialist manufacturer in footwear for children from size 19 to size 39; and this continues to this day in many different international markets, notably the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Israel and France. In Portugal and Spain the shoes are sold under the name Papalik
All Petasil footwear is produced with high quality leather both on the upper and in the lining. The soles are mostly produced in TR as soft as possible to give maximum comfort to the feet of our children and shock absorption for their heels.
